Join us for a dynamic WRITING RETREAT this September . . .

5 through 12 September 2021

A week-long writing retreat with tours of Counties Galway, Clare, and Mayo
in the the inspirational wild west of Ireland.

with guest author/instructor/mentor,

The best thing about this retreat--what sets it apart from others--is the individualized professional feedback you will receive within a small, select group of writers. Even before you arrive at the retreat, you will be invited to submit a number of manuscript pages for our successful, multi-published author to read and review. Your pages will then be edited, with helpful comments and advice offered and sent back to you before the retreat begins.
Once in Ireland, you will receive group classes and workshops, have a 1-on-1 consultation with a successful, mutli-published author, have personal writing time to work on your project, receive writing prompts geared toward your specific needs, engage in discussions about your work, and even learn marketing skills to help sell your book once it's published.
In addition, you'll also have opportunities to brainstorm and network with other writers, and meet potential beta and critique partners.
Since this retreat offers unique, personal attention, it is flexible enough to engage and challenge writers of all levels--from the novice to the advanced, published author. Mark Stevens will coach across genres, so whether you're writing a mystery, a YA novel, historical, non-fiction, or something else, this week can help bring your story to life and make it sell.
At the end of the week, you'll leave the Emerald Isle with memories of faerie forests and castles, plus the ammunition to make your story stand out.

Mark Stevens is the award-winning writer of the Allison Coil Mystery Series. He's won the Colorado Book Award, the Colorado Authors League Award, and was named Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers 2016 Writer of the Year. His short stories have appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers anthologies, and Hex Publishers.

His expertise and amiable nature have put him in great demand as both an instructor and panelist at numerous events, including Bouchercon, Left Coast Crime, RMFW Colorado Gold Conference, Montana Book Festival, Edgar Symposium, and many others.

Look for Mark at his ongoing podcast, 'The Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers,' for RMFW. He also contributes reviews to the New York Journal of Books, as well as reviews books and hosts online author interviews on his book review page. You can read more about Mark, here:
